Iran breaks Trump-announced truce, launches airstrike on Israel
Reports indicate that in the early hours of Tuesday (June 24, 2025), Iran launched a new round of ballistic missiles against Israel — with sirens sounding in Jerusalem and other cities — just hours after President Trump announced a ceasefire.
However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied any real truce agreement, stating that “there is no ceasefire agreement.” According to him, Iran would only cease its attacks if Israel stopped its “illegal aggression” by dawn (4 a.m. Tehran time).
